Teaching Experience
I have over 20 years of teaching experience on violin and viola. I currently serve on the violin faculty of Wichita State University having previously been on the faculty of Utah Valley University, Gifted Music School in Salt Lake City, and Dickinson College in Pennsylvania. My students have gone on to academic and musical successes including admittance to Curtis Institute of Music, Juilliard School, Indiana University, Cleveland Institute of Music, Boston Conservatory, Aspen Music Festival, Rice University, University of Maryland, Arizona State University, and more.
I focus on working through technical issues to build a solid foundation, which allows students to achieve high levels of success in their musical careers. I have also helped students to successfully work through tendonitis and other physical challenges.
